Plant the seed to your baby’s success! Believe it or not, learning to read begins at birth. Sharing books together strengthens your baby’s foundation for learning and creates a long-lasting relationship with their favorite teacher – you! Babies Bloom at the Lester Public Library encourages parents and caregivers to read 100 books to their child before the age of 1. Babies who participate in the program will receive a special bib and a record sheet to keep track of the books they read. After each milestone of 25 books, participants will receive a free book to add to their home library.
