During the summer of 2014, the group ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) captured several towns in northern Iraq.  At the same time, it captured the attention of the world’s media in a big way.  Dr. Melvin Johnson discusses what ISIS is, where it came from, and what we think might be the future of the Middle East regarding this group. This public lecture, in partnership with UW-Manitowoc, provides access to lifelong learning that enhances our lives and community. This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
