Lester Public Library Foundation
The Lester Public Library Foundation exists to provide ongoing financial support to the library that is over and above its regular annual budget.
The Foundation has an independent board of directors that sees to the investment of money it has received from bequests and other donations from the public. It distributes funds to the library on an annual basis as the board deems appropriate.
The objective of the Foundation is to provide support the library while at the same time growing the endowment, enabling future as well as current support. In recent years the Foundation has contributed funds for the purchase of equipment, large print books and other library materials.
