Lester Public Library Programs & Classes

program-overview Lester Public Library offers a variety of programs and classes for people of all ages.  Whether you’re a 3rd grade Lego fan, a teen looking for something to do on a Friday night, an adult looking for someone to discuss the latest science fiction title with, or a senior who enjoys putting puzzles together with their friends, the library has something to offer you.

Youth Programs

Youth Programs Literacy begins at birth and our programs are designed to encourage children and their caregivers to become avid readers and life-long learners.  Youth programs are typically geared for children, birth through 5th grade but many accommodate families with children of multiple ages.

Teen Programs

teen-programs Teens need their own space and their own activities and the library hosts programs that allow teens to interact with their peers and to express themselves. Teen programs are geared for patrons in 6th-12th grade.

Adult Programs

adult-programs Library programs aren’t just for kids!  Whether you want to learn a new skill, explore new ideas,  enjoy the latest blockbuster film or learn a little bit more about the history of our community,  you can do it at the library.

Book Clubs

Book clubs provide an opportunity to connect with new people, discover new authors, and to share your thoughts about what you are reading.  Groups meet once a month and you may attend as few or as many meetings as you wish. To reserve a copy of this month’s selection please call (920)793-7113.

Movie Programs

There’s nothing like watching a movie on a big screen with friends. So join us as we show blockbusters, family films and international films at Lester Public Library.  We’ll provide the popcorn and you can bring your own beverage.
